# Returns & Refund Policy

At Cape Coral Gift Co, every item is custom-made and personalized specifically for you. Because of the personalized nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on most items. However, we are committed to making things right if an error occurs on our end.

## Personalized & Custom Items

Due to the custom nature of personalized products, we do not accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges for:

* Customer spelling errors or incorrect personalization submitted at checkout
* Color choices selected by the customer
* Design approval decisions made by the customer
* Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
* Delays caused by shipping carriers
* Minor variations in wood grain, engraving placement, or handmade item appearance

Please double-check all personalization details before placing your order.

## If We Made a Mistake

If your item arrives with an error caused by Cape Coral Gift Co, we will gladly replace or remake the item at no additional cost.

Examples include:

* Incorrect personalization not matching your submitted order
* Wrong item received
* Manufacturing defects
* Damage caused prior to delivery

To request assistance, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

* Your order number
* A description of the issue
* Clear photos of the item and packaging

## Damaged Items

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of:

* The damaged item
* The shipping box
* The shipping label

This helps us file claims with the carrier and resolve the issue quickly.

## Non-Personalized Items

Non-personalized items may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery if:

* The item is unused
* The item is in original condition
* The customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

## Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the return or issue has been reviewed and approved.
